Description
Nola is a restaurant and bar in Palma's Santa Catalina neighbourhood, serving up Creole-inspired cuisine with a distinct character all of its own.
Food & Menu
The menu at Nola draws on Creole and Cajun influences. Firm crowd-pleasers across many visits include the ribs, fried pickles, cornbread and mussels — the latter served in their own broth. Flank steak, Creole ceviche and sweet potato fries also feature. Dishes are designed for sharing and the menu is kept deliberately concise. Cocktails hold a central place in the offering: Espresso Martinis, Spicy Margaritas, Mojitos, Old Cubans and house creations such as the Dirty Nola all make an appearance.
Atmosphere & Interior
Nola's interior is artistically styled, with elaborately decorated walls and an eclectic, playful feel throughout. At the back of the venue there is a courtyard that guests find particularly charming. The place gets very busy at peak times, so a reservation is recommended.
Location
Nola is located at Carrer de Sant Magí 13 in the Ponent/Santa Catalina quarter of Palma, tucked away on a side street off the main thoroughfares.
