Papa Gio is an Argentinian-Italian restaurant in the north of Palma, serving homemade pizzas, pasta and empanadas.

Argentinian and Italian cuisine, made from scratch

Everything at Papa Gio carries a clear personal touch: pizza dough, pasta, fillings and desserts are all made in-house. The pizza dough proves for 72 hours before it goes into the oven — the result is thin, crisp and full of flavour. Alongside classic pizza varieties, the menu features Argentinian empanadas available in at least eight different fillings. The pasta selection includes stuffed varieties such as sorrentinos and ravioli. For something sweet, the dessert menu includes tiramisu, lemon tiramisu, alfajores and chocolate cake. Favourite dishes can also be taken home as frozen portions.

Atmosphere & who it suits

The restaurant is small and thoughtfully decorated, with a style inspired by the Porteño neighbourhood of Caminito in Buenos Aires. Cleanliness and attention to detail are evident throughout, including behind the counter. The atmosphere is calm and family-friendly, and the restaurant is very much geared towards families with children. Vegetarian options are also available. As well as dining in, Papa Gio offers takeaway and a delivery service.
