Rock, Water and Stillness

Perranda sits right next to the white castle at Cala Xinxell and is a rocky area with patches of grass — don't come looking for sand. That's precisely what keeps the crowds away and gives the spot its quiet, authentic atmosphere. The water is crystal clear, making it a great base for snorkelling. If you do fancy sand, you can make your way from here over some steep rocks to the nearby Cala Clavijo — a roughly five-minute walk.

Sundowners & a Dip

Perranda is also a lovely place to take in the sunset. There's a food-and-drink outlet on site, though it leans more towards pricey and unremarkable on the food front — a sundowner drink is very much the thing to go for.
