Platja de Cala Marçal
Description
Cala Marçal is a sandy cove within the municipality of Felanitx on the east coast of Mallorca.
The Bay & Water
The turquoise water at Cala Marçal is renowned for its clarity, and the sandy beach is well kept and clean. The seabed shelves gently and the waves are minimal — a calm, sheltered spot that's ideal for a leisurely swim. The rocky sides of the cove attract plenty of fish, making snorkelling well worth the effort. Conditions can vary, however, with some visitors reporting murky water and plastic litter on occasion.
Beach Facilities
Toilets and showers are available on site. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee, and the parasols come fitted with safes for your valuables. A lifeguard is on duty at the beach. Several restaurants and bars are located just a short walk away.
Location & Getting There
Platja de Cala Marçal is situated at Carrer del Corb Marí 12 in Felanitx (07670). Free car parking is available around the cove. The beach is accessible via several routes, including steps and a step-free entrance directly from the pavement.
