Description

Puig de Sant Salvador is a hilltop viewpoint near Felanitx in the south-east of Mallorca, crowned by a sanctuary with a church and a striking Christ monument.

Panoramic views across the south-east of the island

What makes Puig de Sant Salvador such a rewarding destination is the sweeping 360-degree view from the summit: on a clear day the panorama stretches across a large part of Mallorca all the way to the coast. Sunrise and sunset are particularly spectacular up here. The Christ monument at the top is visible from miles around and genuinely impressive up close, while the sanctuary church is freely accessible and well worth a look inside. The whole area is a lovely spot to linger and take a breather.

Getting there

The hill is accessible by car via a narrow, winding mountain road full of hairpin bends — the drive itself is considered part of the experience. If you prefer, you can reach the summit on foot or by bike; the climb is a well-known challenge for cyclists. Free parking is available at the top in good supply, including dedicated accessible spaces, and there is additional free street parking nearby.

On site

At the summit you'll find toilets and a café — perfect for a well-earned rest. The church and monument are free to visit, and the site is great for families.
