The estate's roots stretch back to the Arabic period, when it was known as Alqueria Addaia. Following the Christian Reconquista it took its present name and changed hands many times over the centuries — including a period under the Marchesi of Palmer. Today it belongs to the Burguera family and covers 200 hectares within the protected natural landscape of Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos.
