Puig de son Jordi is a walking area near Canyamel in eastern Mallorca, with several summits and sweeping panoramic views across the surrounding landscape.

Three Summits, One Stunning Panorama

The area takes in three smaller summits. The standout is L'Ovelleta, whose viewpoint offers far-reaching views across the surroundings — on a clear day stretching from Cala Ratjada all the way to Cala Millor, and even as far as Menorca. The ascent is considered challenging and calls for a sure footing and sturdy footwear.

Red arrows and red dots are the markers to follow on this route. Stick to them and you stay on the designated path; stray from them and you'll quickly find yourself in unmarked terrain. Some sections demand scrambling rather than straightforward walking. Part of the route is accessible from Carrer dei Romani, running alongside the golf course and heading uphill past electricity pylons — allow around an hour to reach the highest point.

The walking area is located near Canyamel (07589). The access road is very demanding and only suitable for vehicles with high ground clearance; standard cars will struggle to get up it. The trailhead itself isn't easy to spot, so keep your eyes peeled.
