Description
Ramen Otaku is a Japanese ramen restaurant in the heart of Palma, making its noodles from scratch and preparing all its broths in-house.
Crafted from the Ground Up
Ramen Otaku is the only ramen kitchen on Mallorca that makes its own noodles — using fresh local flour and precision machinery imported from Japan. The dough is guided by hand, and each portion is cut by hand. Every bowl is served in handcrafted ceramic ware from Mallorcan pottery makers. Each ramen bowl — except the vegetarian and vegan options — comes with chashu, narutomaki and nitamago, along with spring onions, nori, menma and sweetcorn.
The Bowls & Starters
The broths — made from chicken or pork — are simmered for up to 72 hours, which comes through clearly in their depth and complexity. The Tonkotsu Picante is one of the most consistently popular bowls on the menu. Vegan ramen features as a fully dedicated option. Gyoza and edamame are standout starters, and portions are generously sized.
The Robot Waiter
A robot handles drinks and dessert service — a quirky touch that never fails to entertain guests in the dining room.
Location & Getting Here
The restaurant is located at Carrer de la Volta de la Mercè 2 in the centre of Palma. Paid parking is available nearby. Tables can be reserved via the website — walk-ins are welcome, though you may need to wait for a table.
