Description

Cala Clara is a small cove in Cala de Sant Vicenç in the north of Mallorca, known for its crystal-clear, turquoise water and peaceful atmosphere well away from the busier tourist beaches.

Water & Nature

The cove's shallow, sheltered water is beautifully clear and settles quickly after any swell — perfect for snorkelling, with plenty of fish to spot beneath the surface. Rocky hillsides frame the bay on either side, and wild goats occasionally make their way down from the surrounding Tramuntana mountains and can be spotted around the beach.

Beach & Access

The beach is sandy in places and pebbly in others, and the entry into the water is over stones — water shoes are well worth bringing. Access to the beach is via steps and a steep descent. Toilet facilities are available on site.

Location & Parking

Cala Clara is located on Carrer Cala Clara in Cala de Sant Vicenç. Free parking spaces are available along the road above the cove, and a dedicated accessible parking space is provided.

Restaurants & Amenities

There are several restaurants right by the cove, with supermarkets also close at hand.
