Supermarket in Alcúdia

Alcúdia, on Mallorca's north-east coast, combines a well-preserved old town encircled by medieval walls with the lively resort area of Port d'Alcúdia and the long Playa de Alcúdia beach. For everyday shopping or self-catering during a stay, the Supermarket category lists 66 entries here, ranging from small neighbourhood shops to larger chains.

The selection is spread across quite different areas: around the old town's Sant Jaume church, smaller shops and specialist stores set the tone, while in the tourist-oriented Port d'Alcúdia and along the main access roads, larger stores such as Lidl, Mercadona or Eroski cover daily grocery needs. Away from the main routes, for instance in residential areas near Playa de Alcúdia, supermarkets and smaller food shops are often within walking distance, which is particularly convenient for guests staying in holiday apartments.

During the summer months, when Alcúdia sees considerably more visitors, branches near the beach and harbour tend to be busier, while shops in the old town and quieter residential areas are usually easier to reach. Those travelling by car will generally find parking right by the larger supermarkets, whereas in the old town it's more a matter of strolling between the different addresses.
