Harmonia was a West German krautrock supergroup formed in 1973 in the rural village of Forst, bringing together Cluster members Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius with Neu! guitarist Michael Rother. Living and recording communally in Forst, the trio released two albums — *Musik von Harmonia* (1974) and *Deluxe* (1975) — to limited commercial success at the time, though both are now regarded as cornerstones of kosmische music. AllMusic described the group as "one of the most legendary in the entire krautrock/kosmische scene," and rock historian Julian Cope included both albums in his Krautrock Top 50. Brian Eno famously called Harmonia the most important band in rock in the early 1970s and later collaborated with them. After dissolving in 1976, the trio reunited in 2007: the archival live recording *Live 1974* was released in October 2007 on UK label Grönland Records and in the US on Water Records. In April 2008, Harmonia made their first-ever live appearance in the UK. Their music — blending repetitive guitar structures with early synthesiser sound — remains hugely influential on electronic and indie music to this day.
