FOLK DANCE

On 27 August, Felanitx turns its attention to folk dance. This fiesta brings together the groups S’Estol des Gerricó and Agrupació Abeniara, giving the evening a distinctly Mallorcan character. A ballada popular is a convivial expression of traditional dance, centred on music, movement and a shared sense of occasion. It offers a lovely way to experience Felanitx through its living culture rather than simply as a place to visit.
