Folk and traditional games

On 12 October 2026, popular and traditional games take centre stage at a family event in Llucmajor, organised by the Consell de Mallorca. If you’re planning to spend time in the town with your family, this date offers an opportunity to get to know traditional forms of play. Traditional games often draw on simple rules, skill and interaction. Their appeal is less about elaborate equipment and more about the pleasure of playing together — something that can connect different generations. It’s a focus on shared experiences and the social side of play, rather than on complicated entertainment.
