Meet Miquel and Càndida, two figures from Mallorca’s festive culture, in Llucmajor. On 18 October 2026, the town’s farmer giants will be carried by the Geganters de Llucmajor, with musical accompaniment from the Xeremiers de sa Marina. Known as gegants, these towering figures are carried by people and form part of festive traditions across Mallorca and other Catalan-speaking regions.
