On Casamundo, for example, Son Ulari Gran in Santa Margalida and Can Caubo in Felanitx are described as having private pools and allowing pets. Such listings are a starting point, not a complete answer about fencing, pool heating or the conditions for bringing your dog.

Do you really have exclusive use of your holiday home’s pool?
‘With a pool’ only tells you that there is a pool. A listing for Finca Yago explicitly mentions a large shared pool; other descriptions refer to a private pool. Clarify the difference before booking – especially if you want to swim undisturbed or use the outdoor space with your dog.

That does not mean the entire property is securely fenced for dogs. Conversely, a fence around the property does not necessarily prevent access to the water.
Ask for up-to-date photos of the property boundaries and specifically ask about gates, driveways and open access points. What matters most is which area is fenced: the garden, the pool or both. “Large property” is not a sufficient answer.

Search for the specific sport, then ask for confirmation for the specific property.
