Vox leader Abascal sets dates for Maó and Eivissa

Maó in the Balearic Islands is first on Vox leader Santiago Abascal’s schedule next week: he plans a public event there on Friday from 19.00, followed by another in Eivissa on Saturday at the same time. The Maó venue has yet to be confirmed. The Eivissa event is set for the Baluard de Santa Llúcia.
Vox announced both events on X on Friday afternoon. They are part of the run-up to Spain’s general election on 29 November. Abascal is the first leader of a major party contesting the election to announce public events in the Balearic Islands. Vox has yet to name its candidates for Congress from the archipelago or for the Senate from each island.
