‘Free’ Manu Tenorio show: Alaior PSOE wants the bills
A show described as free could still have cost Alaior Town Hall money. On Tuesday, 29 September, the PSOE in Alaior, Menorca, asks the council led by José Lluís Benejam what it spent on singer Manu Tenorio’s appearance at the Tourism Fair and actress Loles León’s appearance at an LGTBI+ Pride celebration last June. The council previously said Tenorio’s performance was free.
The PSOE wants to know whether the council has a contract with Tenorio or his representatives. It also seeks a breakdown of spending on sound, lighting and technical equipment; travel and transport; and accommodation and meals for the singer, his team and any companions. Insurance, liability and copyright costs are on its list too.
For León’s appearance, the party wants the full amount spent by Alaior Town Hall, with each cost listed separately. Its request gives no figures for either show.
