Mallorca's Alaró buys crane truck for over €68,000

More than €68,000 in Alaró, Mallorca: the council has added a crane truck to its municipal maintenance fleet. It announced the purchase on Thursday, 15 October. The truck has an open bed and is intended to help the team with its daily work.
The vehicle is an Isuzu M27 Generation 2, with a maximum permitted weight of 3,500 kilos. The council says the purchase is part of its plan to renew its fleet and give municipal services vehicles better suited to their jobs.
Mayor Llorenç Perelló says the new truck will help equip council services for their work. Maintenance councillor Antoni Mateu says it is better suited to the team's upkeep tasks.
