Mallorca voters could see Luis ‘Alvise’ Pérez’s party on the ballot on 29 November: Se Acabó La Fiesta (SALF) says it will field candidates in the Balearic Islands for Spain’s Congress of Deputies. The party announced the plan on 22 October, saying it had collected four times the signatures needed to stand. The minimum is 0.1% of registered voters across the islands.

SALF’s national organisation secretary, Yeray Iglesias, says it will present a Balearic election list. Party coordinators Bernat Bosch and Jesús Javaloyas say they spoke to young people, workers and pensioners while collecting signatures. They say an 88-year-old woman who does not use social media also signed at one of their stands.

The party says new membership has risen in recent days, but gives no figure. It is preparing its list and says it will reveal the candidates after submitting the signatures to the electoral authority.
