Anti-PSOE and pro-Ceuta graffiti has appeared on a public building in Artà, Mallorca. The words “Ceuta no se abandona” and “PSOE traidores” were visible on its walls in an image shared by the Socialist Party of the Balearic Islands (PSIB).
The PSIB condemned the vandalism and said it expected other democratic parties in the Balearics to do the same. It said no political disagreement could justify attacks on public buildings and voiced support for socialists in Artà.
The People’s Party (PP) also condemned the act on social media. It said politics must be conducted through respect, dialogue and coexistence, never hatred or confrontation, and called for a clear condemnation of vandalism without qualification.
