Mallorca airport leads 1,475 flights on August's last day

Palma Airport on Mallorca is due to handle 944 of the 1,475 flights scheduled across the Balearic Islands on Monday, 31 August, the final day of the month. Eivissa has 378 flights planned and Menorca 153, according to airport operator Aena. Palma accounts for almost two-thirds of Monday's total.
From Friday through Monday, the three airports are scheduled to operate 6,443 flights. Palma handles 4,053 of them, while Eivissa has 1,664 and Menorca 726.
