Avenida Joan Amer refurbishment starts in Porto Cristo
Refurbishment work on Avenida Joan Amer in Porto Cristo, Mallorca, will begin on Tuesday 25 August and is scheduled to run for three months. Manacor Town Council said the project covers the stretch between Avenida Pins and Calle Bordils.
Street and pedestrian improvements
The scheme will renew road and service infrastructure along the section. It also includes upgrades to pavements and areas set aside for pedestrians.
The road surface will be replaced and the public lighting network improved. The council said the work is intended to improve the route’s condition, safety and day-to-day function.
Project budget
The refurbishment has a budget of €654,069. Porto Cristo delegate Antònia Llodrà said the intervention responds to a local need and will improve an avenue used in residents’ daily lives.
