Depending on the hotel and travel dates, the deal can also include a free stay for the first child, a room upgrade or free cancellation. Those extras apply only at selected properties and on selected dates.

The biggest named reductions include up to 45% off at Bahia Principe Escape Tenerife and up to 28% at Bahia Principe Explore Fantasia. Escape is the chain’s adults-only brand, while Explore is aimed at family holidays.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica is included with a 35% discount. The hotel is due to reopen at the end of the year after a full refurbishment.

The offers are available first through Bahia Principe’s website. From 7 September, the chain plans to extend the sale to its other sales channels and travel agencies.

Commercial director Lluïsa Salord said the campaign was designed to encourage travellers to plan their next break early.
