A 33-year-old man suffered burns and a bleeding head wound after a row in a shared home in Peguera, Mallorca. The Guardia Civil said his 25-year-old flatmate threw a pot that had been on the hob at high heat at his head, then threatened to kill him while brandishing a knife. Officers arrested the younger man last week.
The argument was over the use of shared areas in the home, according to the Guardia Civil. The injured man was taken by ambulance to a medical centre and needed six stitches for the wound to his head.
The Guardia Civil in Calvià opened its investigation after the injured man made a complaint. Officers said they identified the alleged attacker before making the arrest.
