Sóller canyoning fall leaves man seriously hurt

A 51-year-old man was seriously injured after falling seven metres while canyoning in the Torrent de ses Llemes in Sóller, Mallorca, at about 13.10 on Tuesday, 1 September. The circumstances of the fall are not yet known, emergency service SAMU 061 said.
Mallorca firefighters used a helicopter to reach the man in difficult terrain and take him to an ambulance. He suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was taken in a serious condition to Son Espases University Hospital.
