Mallorca shops: Catalan language rights in focus

Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

In Pollença, Mallorca, Catalan language rights in shops take centre stage on Saturday. The second ImpliCAT meeting starts at 10.00 at Casal de Can Llobera, the Plataforma per la Llengua says.

The meeting brings together elected representatives, technical staff and activists working on municipal language policy. The platform wants them to coordinate their efforts. It also hopes more councils across the Balearic Islands will join the ImpliCAT network and develop local language policies.
