Mallorca: Santanyí school playground gets new surface

On Mallorca, nearly €30,000 pays for a new surface on the nursery playground at CEIP Calonge in Santanyí. Santanyí Town Council says it removed the old paving after use and time left it in poor condition. Mayor Maria Pons visited the school on Thursday, 15 October 2026, to see the result and learn more about the new space.
The council says the replacement surface is adapted to the youngest pupils and safe for them. Pons says the work removes risks and gives children a modern, comfortable, high-quality place to play.
