Ferreries accident leaves teenager in intensive care

A 17-year-old girl was admitted to intensive care at Hospital Mateu Orfila after an accident during the Sant Bartomeu festivities in Ferreries, Menorca, on 24 August.

The Menorca Health Area said she had suffered a traumatic brain injury. The circumstances of the accident have not been disclosed.

Ferreries is holding its traditional Sant Bartomeu celebrations, with the horse jaleos among the main events scheduled for Monday.
