Santa Margalida fire forces four from their homes

Four people leave nearby homes in Santa Margalida after smoke from a farm fire fills the area on Saturday. The blaze starts at 02.25 and reaches abandoned dairy sheds. Firefighters bring it under control in the morning.
Mallorca Fire Brigade says crews from its Inca and Sóller stations, along with a sergeant, attend the scene. The evacuation is a precaution because of the smoke.
The fire comes as much of Mallorca and Menorca is on the highest forest-fire danger level on Saturday. Burning is banned in woodland areas.
