Formentera firefighter recruitment: tests set for 16 posts

On 25 August, the Consell de Formentera approved the final lists of candidates admitted to and excluded from recruitment for 16 permanent firefighter posts on the island of Formentera. The island authority also set the timetable for the selection process.

The positions form part of the 2024 and 2025 public employment offers and are funded through the budget. They will be filled through an open competitive selection and examination process.

Selection timetable begins after panel is formed

The selection panel is due to be constituted on 31 August, with assessments beginning shortly afterwards. The recruitment call was approved by the Governing Board in December 2025.

Psychometric assessments are scheduled for 4 September. Candidates who pass the earlier stages will sit theoretical examinations on 22 September.
