Mallorca leads: 4,608 flights for September weekend

Mallorca airport is due to handle 3,010 of the 4,608 flights scheduled across the Balearic Islands from Friday to Sunday, the first weekend of September. The total also includes 1,074 flights at Ibiza Airport and 524 at Menorca Airport. The figures come from airport operator Aena.
Saturday is set to be the busiest day, with 1,610 flights. There are 1,426 planned for Friday, before the number falls to 1,572 on Sunday.
