Mallorca gets five walk-in energy advice stops between 6 and 28 September, giving people, businesses and local authorities free help without an appointment. The first opens at Vilafranca’s Melon Fair on 6 September. The Balearic Islands Energy Institute (IBE) is taking the Balearic Energy Transition Office (Oteib) service out to the island’s towns.

The mobile offices offer independent advice on saving energy, energy efficiency and self-consumption. In Marratxí, the service will be at Calle de Balanguera 11 on 18 September. It moves to Palma the following day for the Consell de Mallorca’s Sustainable Mobility Days.

Consell Town Hall hosts an office on 21 September, followed by the municipal offices in Alaró on 28 September. Each Mallorca stop runs from 09.00 to 14.00, except the Palma event, which starts at 10.00.

The September programme also reaches Menorca and Eivissa. Menorca’s seven sessions, running from 9 to 18 September, require an appointment. In Sant Jordi de ses Salines, Eivissa, IBE will hold a 19.00 workshop on collective self-consumption on 10 September at the municipal offices in Calle de la Plaza Mayor 9.
