Palma gaming hall damage: man arrested
The National Police arrested a Spanish man in Palma, Mallorca, on Thursday over alleged gaming hall damage after a television was broken at the venue. Police said the incident took place in early March and that the damage exceeded €3,500.
Investigators said the man entered the premises to order a drink but refused to complete the registration required before entry. He allegedly shouted at and threatened people inside, and staff asked him to leave.
Police said he then picked up a plastic chair on the terrace and threw it at one of the venue’s televisions before leaving. The owners filed a complaint, leading officers to identify the suspect.
He was initially not found and was later spotted near Passeig Mallorca, where officers detained him on suspicion of criminal damage.
