Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

Mallorca votes on 29 November: the Balearic Islands elect eight MPs to Spain’s Congress of Deputies in the general election. Mallorca is part of the Balearic constituency and also elects three senators. Spain’s Official State Gazette published the seat allocations on 6 October 2026 in the decree calling the election.

The decree sets out how many MPs each constituency elects. Madrid gains one seat, taking its total from 37 to 38. Cádiz loses one, falling from nine to eight, while Andalusia’s total drops from 61 to 60.

For the Senate, Ibiza, Formentera and Menorca each elect one senator. The general rule for provinces is four.
