Mallorca traffic row: driver hit with hammer, man held
On Mallorca, a driver needs stitches after an alleged hammer attack during a traffic row in the Bons Aires district of Palma on 1 October. He says the other driver struck his leg and shoulder. A wound on his leg needed medical treatment and stitches.
The injured driver told police the argument began with two people in another car and grew heated. He said both threatened him before the other driver pulled out a hammer.
Spain’s National Police said on Wednesday, 14 October, that its West District judicial police unit identified the suspected attacker and his companion. Officers arrested the suspect the previous Friday.
