Ibiza gets second heavy rain alert as streams may overflow

The island of Ibiza gets a second phone alert at 10.03am on Monday: heavy rain could make streams overflow. Emergency service 112 urges extreme caution, telling people to keep away from streams, watercourses and areas that could flood. Mallorca also received an ES-Alert phone warning at 7pm on Sunday over forecast heavy rain.
The Ibiza alert tells people to avoid low-lying and underground areas. If water gets in, 112 advises them to go to an upper floor. An earlier warning reached Ibiza at 11.20am on Sunday over an imminent risk of flooding.
