Ibiza drugs raid shuts two tourist supply points, three held
A drugs raid in Sant Antoni, Ibiza, has dismantled two active drug-selling points that mainly supplied tourists. Guardia Civil officers arrested two men and a woman on 28 August during Operation Corsair Bal. The three are suspected of drug trafficking and membership of a criminal group, and were brought before the relevant judicial authority.
Searches of two homes uncovered 68 single-dose bags of tusi, 16 bags of cocaine, 14 of ketamine and eight of MDMA. Officers also found more than 28 grams of ecstasy tablets.
Police seized 98 bottles of nitrous oxide, commonly called laughing gas, along with 70 chocolate bars containing psychoactive substances. They also recovered equipment used to weigh, prepare and portion the substances, plus €6,670 and £2,050 in cash.
