Balearic industrial prices rise 16.1% in July

PALMA, Balearic Islands — Industrial prices in the Balearic Islands were 16.1% higher in July than a year earlier, figures released on Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute showed.
Prices in the archipelago have risen 13.6% since the start of the year and increased 14% from the previous month.
Energy recorded the largest annual increase, at 23.1%. Intermediate goods rose 7.2%, while capital goods were 3.2% more expensive.
The institute also reported increases of 0.9% and 1.8% for durable consumer goods, while non-durable consumer goods rose 0.8%.
