Banca March has completed the €393 million sale of 90% of Inversis to Euroclear in Madrid on 1 September. Euroclear, a multinational provider of financial-market infrastructure services, has taken a further 41% for €221 million. The deal follows Banca March’s sale of 49% in March 2025 for €172 million.

Euroclear plans to complete its purchase of Inversis within 18 months of this latest transaction. Banca March bought the whole company in 2014 and says it will remain a strategic partner of Euroclear.

The takeover gives Inversis access to bigger clients and the chance to take its business model into other markets. The company is set to become the platform for Euroclear’s Mediterranean strategy, supporting growth in Spain and Italy, where Inversis already has a representative office.

Euroclear says the deal strengthens its presence in southern Europe. Banca March says it will also benefit from the group’s expanded capabilities as it grows internationally and serves its clients.
