London city breaks surge as TUI Spain sales jump 12%

London city breaks are selling 12% more at TUI Spain than in 2025. The tour operator announced the rise in Madrid on Tuesday, 1 September, while expanding its range for the British capital. Its most popular package combines flights, a hotel and transfers.

Travel agents can tailor the trips to different interests and lengths of stay. London can also be included in routes with other cities, train journeys or car hire.

Harry Potter trips and central RIU hotels

TUI Spain is offering Harry Potter-themed London breaks this year, with visits to Warner Bros studios and locations connected with the saga. Legoland Windsor is also in the programme, aimed particularly at families.

Its own hotel range now includes Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster and Riu Plaza London Victoria. TUI Spain says both are in central parts of London.

Thames cruises join the range

TUI Musement, the company's tours and activities division, is adding a new range of Thames cruises developed with a local partner. The trips take in some of the capital's leading landmarks, with coffee, afternoon tea, brunch or dinner available on board depending on the option.

The operator has also added a scone-making workshop. Participants prepare the traditional British buns with a local expert before having tea.
