Palma lorry door hits three parked cars, breaks mirrors

A refrigerated lorry’s loose door hits three parked cars in Palma, Mallorca, on Tuesday, breaking wing mirrors and scraping bodywork. The damage occurs at 15.05 near number 29 on Gremi de Teixidors street in the Son Castelló industrial estate, according to Palma Local Police.

The driver had just unloaded goods at number 31. He left both rear doors open and fastened them against the sides of the lorry because he planned to unload more a few metres farther on. Shortly after he set off, the right-hand door came free. Its frame struck the three cars repeatedly. All were parked legally.

Police attended after a call about the collision and drew up a report to help with insurance claims. They also reported the driver for breaching traffic regulations.
