Magaluf gets 53 events to stretch Mallorca season

Magaluf on Mallorca will host 53 cultural and leisure events on the Gabriel Escarrer Juliá seafront promenade until 31 October. Calvià Council is using live music, outdoor films, family shows, workshops and wellbeing activities to keep the resort active through September and October. Most events will run from 18.00 to 22.00, after the hottest part of the day.

The programme is intended to draw people to Magaluf later in the season and support nearby shops and restaurants. Calvià says it wants to broaden the resort’s offer through culture, leisure and wellbeing.

Music, films and movement

Thursdays will bring family and cultural activities, including children’s shows, storytelling, workshops and outdoor cinema. Live music and acoustic concerts with considerate sound levels are planned for Fridays.

Saturdays will focus on movement and wellbeing, with yoga, Move and Balance sessions and dance. Cultural and family events will return on Sundays.

Outdoor cinema and Mallorcan stories

A key part of the programme is cine a la fresca — outdoor cinema. The films listed include E.T., Wicked, Grease, Jurassic World, Cómo entrenar a tu dragón and Regreso al Futuro.

Mallorcan will also feature in theatrical storytelling sessions for children, Calvià Council said.
