Mallorca airport: 3,574 flights over long weekend
Palma Airport on Mallorca expects 3,574 flights from Friday to the public holiday on Monday, 12 October. Across the Balearic Islands, 5,165 flights are scheduled over those four days, according to figures from Aena. Saturday is set to be the busiest day, with 1,350 flights across the islands’ three airports.
Eivissa Airport on Ibiza expects 1,136 flights, while Menorca Airport on Menorca expects 455. After Saturday, the busiest days are Sunday with 1,324 flights, Friday with 1,281 and Monday with 1,210.
On the same dates in 2025, the islands’ airports handled 5,287 flights — 122 more than are scheduled this year. The comparison comes with a difference: those dates ran from Thursday to Sunday last year, and Spain’s National Day fell on the Sunday.
