Mallorca heat builds on Thursday as temperatures rise
Mallorca faces rising heat on Thursday, with temperatures climbing under mostly clear skies. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, says highs on the island could become very high. Stable high pressure is expected to keep the weather settled across the Balearic Islands.
The agency forecasts little cloud or clear skies across most of Spain and the Balearics. Mediterranean breezes are also expected, while winds inland should generally stay light and variable.
Mallorca is not among the areas named in Aemet’s heat-warning list, which covers eleven Spanish regions. The alerts are focused on parts of mainland Spain, where temperatures are forecast to climb further.
