Mallorca faces temperatures above 35ºC on Wednesday, with the same mark forecast again on Thursday as heat builds across the Balearics. The State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, says this unusual early-September hot spell will last for the following two days. Thursday is expected to bring another rise in daytime highs.

Wednesday should remain mostly clear or only lightly cloudy. Temperatures are set to rise across Mallorca and could pass 35ºC.

Thursday is forecast to be largely clear again. Mallorca is among the areas expected to exceed 35ºC as the highest temperatures climb further.
