Mallorca June total reaches 1.39 million people

More than 1.39 million people were on Mallorca on average during June, 1.1% more than in the same month last year. The island’s human-pressure measure, the Indicator of Human Pressure (IPH), moved between 1.38 million and 1.4 million. The figures were published by the Balearic Islands statistics institute, Ibestat.

Across the Balearic Islands, the IPH peak passed 1.93 million people on 26 June. That was nearly 1.4% higher than in June 2025, an increase of around 28,000 people. The month’s low came on 2 June, when the measure stood at just over 1.85 million.

The islands averaged around 1.89 million people during June, up almost 1.3% on 2025 and roughly 24,000 people higher.

Menorca’s average rose 2.6% to nearly 180,000 people, with figures ranging from 167,000 to almost 195,000. Eivissa averaged 285,000, up 0.7%, and ranged from 272,000 to nearly 300,000.

Formentera recorded the sharpest increase. Its average was almost 29,000 people, 6.6% above the previous year, with a high of around 33,000 and a low of 26,000.
