Mallorca council vice-president joins PP Congress list

Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, has a senior councillor on the People’s Party (PP) list for Spain’s 29 November general election: Antònia Roca, first vice-president of the Island Council of Mallorca, is standing for a seat in the Congress of Deputies. José Vicente Marí Bosó, the PP leader on Eivissa, heads the list. Sitting congress member Joan Mesquida is also standing.

The Balearic PP leader, Marga Prohens, praised the candidates in a post on X on 22 October. She said they brought “talent, closeness and management ability” and that the party wanted to bring change to Spain alongside Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
