Mallorca start-ups offered free Barcelona tech spots

Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands: start-ups can now apply for free entry and their own space at a tech congress in Barcelona. The Fundación Bit opened applications on 22 October for 4 Years From Now, held during Mobile World Congress at the Fira de Barcelona from 1 to 4 March 2027. The offer is open to start-ups across the Balearic Islands, with applications due by Friday 30 October.

Selected firms can present their projects from the Balearic stand and enter the congress’s competitions. The event brings young companies together with investment funds, international companies and technology leaders. The Balearic Islands’ Department of Economy, Finance and Innovation says it gives firms a chance to seek funding, partnerships and new business.

Applicants must submit a project presentation, known as a pitch deck, through the Fundación Bit website. The foundation will announce its selection on 13 November. It attended last year’s congress, but this will be the first time it and the Balearic government have their own stand there.
