Mallorca storms bring torrential rain risk on Monday

Mallorca faces heavy or very heavy showers and thunderstorms on Monday, 19 October: rain across the Balearic Islands could turn torrential and persist at times.
Skies start out overcast, according to Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The cloud breaks up during the afternoon, but some showers and occasional thunderstorms remain possible.
Temperatures change little or rise. Easterly winds are light to moderate, with strong spells in the early hours, before turning southerly around midday.
