Mallorca weather: Sunday could bring 35C heat

Mallorca could see the mercury reach 35C on Sunday, with mostly clear skies expected under high pressure. Spain’s state weather agency Aemet says the mark cannot be ruled out. Temperatures across the Balearic Islands are otherwise expected to change little.
Winds will be mainly light, though they may pick up to moderate at times during the afternoon in the Balearics. Much of Spain is also set for few clouds or clear skies.
More than 35C is forecast across large parts of Andalusia, while a weather front will bring more cloud and scattered light rain to north-western Spain. The front is expected to move across Galicia and the Cantabrian area.
